Wow what a year! I want to tell you how special my third graders were this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them. They all brought their unique talents and personalities to the class to made this a truly enjoyable and memorable year for me. I feel each student has grown spiritually and educationally and I thank you for sharing your child with me this year! Some reminders: Reading is so important over the summer. Just 15 minutes daily will help ensure your child can improve their fluency and not loose skills they have gained throughout the year. They love to read to an adult, another child, and they can even read to a pet or stuffed animal:) Also, ask your child to keep a journal and write about their adventures this summer. Lastly, please ensure that your child practices multiplication and division…

My third grade parents were awesome and made me feel welcome and supported. I am truly grateful! Remember to encourage your child to read, read, read this summer. Also, 4th grade will be a challenge in math if they are not proficient in their multiplication and division facts. Help your child to practice these often. Enjoy the break spending time with family, as I will, and we will all be back refreshed in August! Again, thank you for making my first year at St. Joseph memorable and rewardingJ
